چکیده

We study the ground state properties of the one-dimensional t-J model using the Density Matrix Renormalization Group (DMRG), obtaining its phase diagram. By measuring the energy and correlations functions we have identified four different phases: metal, spin-gap with singlet superconductivity, superconductivity without spin-gap, and phase separation. We found at low densities that the phase separation region is shifted to higher values of J/t in comparison to previous results [1-3]. We confirmed also the results of M. Nakamura et al. [4], who claim, in contrast to other studies [2-3], that a spin gap region is present at densities higher than 0.25.We show that on going from the Luttinger Liquid to the spin-gap phase, electrons form pairs visible in real space. We also discarded the existence of a four bound electron phase by observing the density in real space.

Ternary Phase Diagram Modeling of Chiral Medetomidine Salts Using NRTL-SAC Model

Experimental determination of solubility and ternary phase diagram of chiral compound are of tedious and time consuming tasks, and in many cases, there is not enough experimental data for different enantiomeric compositions to access the experimental ternary phase diagram. Using thermodynamic models with predictive capability, having less dependency on experimental data, affords a great advanta...

Effects of the Residual Stress and Bias Voltage on the Phase Diagram and Frequency Response of a Capacitive Micro-Structure

In this paper, static and dynamic behavior of a varactor of a micro-phase shifter under DC, step DC and AC voltages and effects of the residual stress on the phase diagram have been studied. By presenting a mathematical modeling, Galerkin-based step by step linearization method (SSLM) and Galerkin-based reduced order model have been used to solve the governing static and dynamic equations, resp...

Complex-temperature Phase Diagrams of 1d Spin Models with Next-nearest-neighbor Couplings

We study the dependence of complex-temperature phase diagrams on details of the Hamiltonian, focusing on the effect of non-nearest-neighbor spin-spin couplings. For this purpose, we consider a simple exactly solvable model, the 1D Ising model with nearest-neighbor (NN) and next-to-nearest-neighbor (NNN) couplings. We work out the exact phase diagrams for various values of Jnnn/Jnn and compare t...

Temperature driven crossover phenomena in the cor - relation lengths of the one - dimensional t - J model

– We describe a modified transfer matrix renormalization group (TMRG) algorithm and apply it to calculate thermodynamic properties of the one-dimensional t-J model. At the supersymmetric point we compare with Bethe ansatz results and make direct connection to conformal field theory (CFT). In particular we study the crossover from the non-universal high T lattice into the quantum critical regime...

FFLO state in 1 , 2 , and 3 dimensional optical lattices combined with a non - uniform background potential

We study the phase diagram of an imbalanced two-component Fermi gas in optical lattices of 1-3 dimensions, considering the possibilities of the FFLO, Sarma/breached pair, BCS and normal states as well as phase separation, at finite and zero temperatures. In particular, phase diagrams with respect to average chemical potential and the chemical potential difference of the two components are consi...
